Lou Paradise, Chairman of the Board of Directors Since 1994, Mr. Paradise brings an in-depth understanding of natural medicines matched only by his immense enthusiasm, desire, and passion for his work, to help and educate those seeking better options for pain relief. He is an experienced public speaker and a technically versed natural medicine researcher educator and sales professional. His past speaking engagements include conducting in-services at major university medical centers such as the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Hospital, both in New York City, and Atlantic Health Care in Lynn Mass. The in-service program allows Mr. Paradise to address physicians and practitioners in the occupational and physical therapy departments in the medical use of Topricin® for acute trauma care including the use of the product to improve healing and surgical outcomes. This program has resulted in a loyal growing number of conventional medical professionals using the company products as a regular part of treatment protocol and recommending Topricin® to their patients and colleagues. Aurora Paradise, Director - Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, Ms. Paradise oversees the day-to-day operations and manages the marketing and customer service operations at Topical BioMedics. Ms. Paradise brings deep experience in management, customer service, and training through 25 years in the retail and direct selling industries. Formerly, Aurora was the first Business Development Director at Mary Kay Cosmetics in Staten Island, New York. There, she oversaw 150 professionals, and was responsible for the group's successful expansion into the local metropolitan marketplace. Ms. Paradise traveled extensively around the country for this company and participated in special national events and training events attracting in excess of 1000 participants. Aurora also holds significant retail expertise, having managed and owned a number of operations. Stephen Duricko, Director - VP Marketing, Secretary and Company Founder Mr. Duricko focuses on supply chain management and on working with customer service in delivering integrated solutions to our professional clientele. Mr. Duricko's extensive background in production and distribution management, purchasing, and inventory control, has proven essential to Topical BioMedics. Formerly, Steve controlled three production facilities for a major clothing manufacturer, progressing to Assistant Manager at a 500-person plant. There, he held significant accountability for all operations and for rigorous implementation of quality control protocol and procedures. In addition, Steve brings very deep knowledge of the healthcare community to the company. He worked extensively in the corporate health benefits industry, as an executive at a successful HMO, and provided consulting to several managed care organizations. Robert Hanson, Director Mr. Hanson is a successful businessman with over 12-years of experience in the TV home shopping industry. Rob and his wife Marybeth were among the original contractors representing companies and their products to home shopping giants QVC and HSN (Home Shopping Network). Rob is known in the industry for skillfully guiding companies to success in on-air TV shop-at-home presentations. As a shareholder Rob and his family have materially contributed to assisting the company in important and early foundation building. Steven J. Spiegel, Director Mr. Spiegel is a Director of Topical BioMedics and previously served as the company's general counsel. He is the managing partner of Spiegel Legal, LLC (www.SpiegelLegal.com), a law firm that concentrates in mergers/acquisitions, entrepreneurial ventures, financings, developments, and intellectual property transactions. Prior to founding this law firm, he was associated with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in both New York and Los Angeles. He has also founded and served in various business, advisory and legal capacity in numerous companies, as well as charitable enterprises. He was educated at Brown University, graduating in 1982 with honors in history, and at Columbia University School of Law, graduating in 1985 with distinction during all three academic years as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. John Stanton, Director Mr. Stanton has served as Director for Topical BioMedics for a number of years. He is a highly respected businessman with over 30-years of experience as a pharmacist-owner of a successful independent retail pharmacy business. He is recognized in the pharmacy industry for his work in quality assurance and safe dispensing of prescription medications. John's talent brought him to the attention of the Wal-Mart Corporation where he currently serves in the capacity of Senior Safety and Quality Control Pharmacist in the North East and South East Regions. John's contributions to the company have been invaluable throughout the company's growth. |
