Founders/Executive Team
Lou founded Topical BioMedics, following 25 years dedicated interest in the application of herbal and homeopathic medicines and therapies, and nutritional supplements to stimulate health and healing. Mr. Paradise's enthusiasm, insight, and perseverance during a ten-year research and development phase led to the company's breakthrough product, Topricin®. Mr. Paradise frequently serves as an expert speaker on the use of natural medicines on nationally syndicated radio, and conducts pain management seminars for audiences throughout the northeast. Lou has participated in addressing compliance issues related to natural medicines with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and regularly speaks to clinical audiences on the use of the company's proprietary technologies in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, and trauma injury as a compliment to primary care. Formerly, Lou worked in the brokerage and aerospace industries. Mr. Paradise served in the U.S. Marine Corps on active combat duty during Vietnam, where he was decorated for bravery during military and humanitarian rescue missions.
Aurora manages the marketing, financial, and customer service operations at Topical BioMedics. As Marketing Director, Aurora develops and oversees all advertising campaigns in print, broadcast and e-media, as well as developing all promotional materials. As Acting CFO Aurora oversees all accounting functions including cash and debt management. As Chief Operating Officer she oversees all daily operations including staff management, purchasing, inventory management, and order processing and fulfillment. Formerly, Aurora was the first Business Development Director at Mary Kay Cosmetics in Staten Island, New York. There, she oversaw 150 professionals, and was responsible for the group's successful expansion into the local metropolitan marketplace. Ms. Paradise traveled extensively around the country for this company and participated in special national events and training events attracting in excess of 1000 participants. Aurora also holds significant retail expertise, having managed and owned a number of operations.
Mr. Duricko focuses on supply chain management and on working with customer service in delivering integrated solutions to our professional clientele. Steve is responsible for major account relationships, working with distributors and major retail chains to maximize marketing reach. Mr. Duricko's extensive background in production and distribution management, purchasing, and inventory control, has proven essential to Topical BioMedics. Formerly, Steve controlled three production facilities for a major clothing manufacturer, progressing to Assistant Manager at a 500-person plant. There, he held significant accountability for all operations and for rigorous implementation of quality control protocol and procedures. In addition, Steve brings very deep knowledge of the healthcare community to the company. He worked extensively in the corporate health benefits industry, as an executive at a successful HMO, and provided consulting to several managed care organizations. Company Team
